PTFE hydrophilic filter membranes are modified from hydrophobic PTFE and include: PTFE hydrophilic smooth membranes and PTFE hydrophilic composite membranes.
PTFE hydrophilic smooth membranes possess the following characteristics: excellent hydrophilicity, high hydrophilic stability, and good chemical resistance and temperature tolerance. They can be widely used for filtering various liquids, including corrosive liquids such as strong acids and strong bases.
PTFE hydrophobic filter membranes are made from naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene polymer and include: PTFE hydrophobic smooth membranes and PTFE hydrophobic composite membranes.
Hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes are hydrophilically modified based on hydrophobic PVDF membranes, reducing the surface contact angle and enhancing hydrophilicity. Hydrophilic PVDF membranes exhibit extremely low protein adsorption while maintaining exceptionally high water flux and broad chemical compatibility. Consequently, PVDF membranes are frequently used for filtering culture media and other protein solutions. We offer filter membranes with pore sizes ranging from 3 μm to 0.1 μm.
The hydrophobic PVDF filter membrane is made from a naturally hydrophobic polyvinylidene fluoride polymer. It exhibits excellent chemical compatibility, corrosion resistance, and resistance to radiation sterilization. It is ideally suited for sterile filtration applications involving organic solvents, mixed solvents, acidic solutions, chemical intermediates, biological products, fermentation processes, and more. The membrane boasts outstanding thermal stability and antioxidant properties, making it applicable across a wide range of fields. We offer membranes with pore sizes ranging from 3 μm to 0.1 μm.
The PTFE distillation membrane developed by BlueTech Filtration achieves a perfect combination of high strength, high water-pressure resistance, and high gas permeability. The intrinsic hydrophobicity of the PTFE membrane ensures that aqueous solutions on either side cannot pass through the membrane pores into the other side. At the same time, however, a pressure difference exists across the membrane. As a result, volatile components in the feed liquid can pass through the PTFE membrane pores in gaseous form, thereby achieving the desired separation effect.
PTFE waterproof and breathable membrane
FE waterproof and breathable membranes are a new type of waterproof and breathable material. BlueTech filtration waterproof membrane materials offer three key functions:
PTFE hydrophobic and oleophobic film
The hydrophobic and oleophobic membrane provided by Blueco Filter boasts strong water- and oil-repellent properties. This membrane effectively prevents the penetration of low-surface-tension contaminants, including detergents, cleaning agents, oils, and chemicals.
In the molecular structure of the PTFE membrane produced by Lanke Institute, each carbon atom is surrounded by four fluorine atoms. As a result, PTFE exhibits exceptionally high chemical stability and remarkable resistance to corrosion—even against strong acids, strong bases, and strong oxidizing agents—earning it the nickname "King of Plastics."

A grid membrane is actually a sterilized microbial limit test disc membrane with a grid pattern. By utilizing different pore sizes, it enriches specified bacteria for cultivation, enabling the counting and detection of these bacteria.
The housing of the Blueco filtration and sterilization filters is made of medical-grade polypropylene, produced via one-time injection molding. It features high-pressure resistance and ensures no product leakage. Each filter comes individually packaged and is gamma-irradiated for sterility; it is free of DNA/RNA enzymes, pyrogens, and endotoxins. These filters are primarily used for sample filtration in HPLC and GC analyses, removal of protein precipitates from cell reagents, dissolution assays, food analysis, biofuel analysis, environmental monitoring, and other applications. Filter materials include CA, Ny, PVDF, PES, PTFE, and MCE, with diameters available in 13mm, 25mm, and 30mm, and pore sizes of 0.22μm and 0.45μm.
The Blueco filtration sample vials are made from high-quality borosilicate glass and meet ASTM Type I Class A and USP Type I standards. The design and manufacturing of the vial caps and septa ensure excellent sealing performance and seamless compatibility with instruments from manufacturers such as Agilent, Shimadzu, Waters, and Thermo Scientific. Our production facility implements comprehensive quality control throughout the entire process. We also conduct chromatographic performance tests on silicone rubber septa to guarantee the highest purity standards, eliminate impurity contamination, and prevent potential analytical errors. Commonly used specifications include chromatography injection vials, headspace vials, and storage vials ranging from 2 to 40 ml.
In membrane separation technology, microporous membranes are the most widely used type of membrane. They are simple and quick to use and are extensively applied in numerous fields, including scientific research, food testing, chemical engineering, nanotechnology, energy, and environmental protection. The unique pore structure of disc-shaped membranes creates a natural physical barrier that allows particles or microorganisms to be retained on the membrane surface, endowing them with excellent particle-retention capabilities.
Nylon needle filters are widely used in various analytical processes. Hydrophilic nylon membranes are suitable for filtering both aqueous and organic solvents, making them ideal for sample preparation in applications such as high-performance liquid chromatography and gas chromatography. They feature high flow rates, low extractables, and excellent mechanical strength.
PTFE (Polytetrafluoroethylene) Needle Filter
PTFE (polytetrafluoroethylene) needle filters are available in hydrophilic and hydrophobic versions. They can be used to filter highly chemically corrosive organic solvents, aqueous solutions, and gases, and are resistant to most strong acids and alkaline solutions.
