  • Product Introduction

PTFE hydrophobic filter membranes are made from naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene polymer and include: PTFE hydrophobic smooth membranes and PTFE hydrophobic composite membranes.

The PTFE hydrophobic optical film is manufactured through an extrusion and biaxial stretching process. PTFE boasts exceptionally high chemical stability and a high pore density in its membrane—each square meter of the membrane can contain up to 1.4 billion pores. It is primarily used in applications such as gas filtration, organic solvent filtration, and sterilizing filtration.

The PTFE hydrophobic composite membrane is manufactured through processes such as thermal lamination, combining ePTFE with supporting materials like PP and PET. It exhibits exceptionally high chemical compatibility, resisting nearly all organic solvents. The composite boasts stable bonding strength, simple operation, and contains neither adhesives nor leachable substances. It is widely used for sterilizing filtration applications, including the filtration of organic solvents, mixed solvents, acidic or alkaline solutions, and strongly oxidizing solutions.

PTFE hydrophilic membrane

PTFE hydrophilic filter membranes are modified from hydrophobic PTFE and include: PTFE hydrophilic smooth membranes and PTFE hydrophilic composite membranes. PTFE hydrophilic smooth membranes possess the following characteristics: excellent hydrophilicity, high hydrophilic stability, and good chemical resistance and temperature tolerance. They can be widely used for filtering various liquids, including corrosive liquids such as strong acids and strong bases.

PTFE hydrophobic membrane

PTFE hydrophobic filter membranes are made from naturally hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene polymer and include: PTFE hydrophobic smooth membranes and PTFE hydrophobic composite membranes.

PVDF hydrophilic membrane

Hydrophilic polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) membranes are hydrophilically modified based on hydrophobic PVDF membranes, reducing the surface contact angle and enhancing hydrophilicity. Hydrophilic PVDF membranes exhibit extremely low protein adsorption while maintaining exceptionally high water flux and broad chemical compatibility. Consequently, PVDF membranes are frequently used for filtering culture media and other protein solutions. We offer filter membranes with pore sizes ranging from 3 μm to 0.1 μm.
